EFFECTS OF BODY MASS İNDEX ON FOOTBALL PRESSURE DİSTRUBİTİON
Abstract
Objectives; The increase in the Body Mass Index changes the normal pressure distribution on the soles of the feet and causes various deformities, such as those that do not load, pes planus, falls in the ankle. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the distribution of the foot pressure according to the body mass index of the persons with normal foot structure applied to the pedobarography laboratory for various reasons. Methods; In our study, 9 males and 12 females were completed and a total of 21 patients were evaluated retrospectively. The average age of the subjects included in the study was 40.16 (min; 19, max; 63). Body mass index (BMI) (kg / m2) was calculated in all cases. In our study, four groups were formed according to body mass indexes: weak (8 people), normal (6 people), overweight (4 people) and obese (3 people). Results; In our study, there was no difference between the base sounds and the sex. However, an increase in the percentage of the plantar pressure of the posterior leg was detected, with no significant difference between the right and left sides of the foot parallel to the increase in the mass index. Conclusion; He thinks our work will be a guide for future work.
