Abstract
Giriş ve Amaç: Supraventriküler taşikardiler (SVT) ritim bozukluklarının en sık görülen nedenlerindendir. Özellikle genç ve sağlıklı bireylerde gözükmektedir. Tedavide farmakolojik veya kateter ablasyon tedavisi uygulanır. Bu yazıda amacımız SVT tanısı alan kullandığı ilaçlara rağmen SVT’si devam eden ve ablasyon önerilen hastaya akupunktur tedavisinin etkinliğini göstermektedir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Geleneksel Çin Tıbbına göre nabız ve dil muayenesi yapıldı. Hastamıza 5 seans dalak ve böbrek yang protokolü uygulandı. Uygulama sonrası 3 seans nöropsikopatojen basic (NPPE-B) ve 5 seans Master Tung akupunkturu uygulandı. Hastanın kalp hızı istirahatte elektrokardiyografi (EKG), eforda Holter, günlük yaşam aktiviteleri Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index (HAQ-DI) skoru ile değerlendirildi. Hastanın ekokardiyografi (EKO) ve laboratuvar değerlendirmesi yapıldı. Bulgular: Hastanın günlük yaşam aktivitesi HAQ-DI skoruna göre 0.55‘den 0.0’e, Kalp hızı istirahatte 120’den 80’e, efor esnasında 200‘den 100’e geriledi. Tartışma ve Sonuç: SVT tanısı alan medikal tedaviye cevap vermeyen, ablasyon önerilen hastada akupunktur tedavisi etkili bir tedavi yöntemidir.
