Examination Of Academic Profiles Of Value-Based Reimbursement Issued Studies

Abstract

Healthcare services financing has functions that collecting revenue, pooling funds and reimbursing (paying) service providers. The function of reimbursing to the service providers is to transfer the collected revenues to the service providers in exchange for the use of the members' healthcare services. There are a number of methods used to reimburse service providers. One of these methods, value-based reimbursement method, refers to the payment system based on the health outcomes. In this study, which has been conducted in order to examine the extent to which the value-based reimbursement method takes place in the scientific literature within the framework of certain parameters, has been used Web of Science database. The obtained studies have been subjected to bibliometric analysis. When the findings related to the research areas have been examined, it has been seen that the publications are mostly conduct in the field of “Healthcare Sciences Services” (24.7%) and at least in the “Nursing” area (5.2%). The highest number of publications has been in 2018 with 24.7%.

Değer Temelli Geri Ödeme (Value-Based Reimbursement) Konulu Çalışmaların Akademik Profilinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Sağlık hizmetleri finansmanın gelir toplama, fon havuzlama ve hizmet sunuculara ödeme yapma şeklinde işlevleri bulunmaktadır. Bu işlevlerden olan hizmet sunucularına ödeme yapma işlevi, toplanan gelirlerin üyelerin sağlık hizmetleri kullanımı karşılığında hizmet sunuculara aktarılmasıdır. Hizmet sunucularına ödeme yapmada kullanılan birtakım yöntemler bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan olan değer temelli ödeme yöntemi, ortaya çıkan sağlık sonuçlarına dayalı olarak yapılan ödeme sistemini ifade etmektedir. Değer temelli ödeme yönteminin bilimsel literatürde ne ölçüde yer aldığının belirli parametreler çerçevesinde incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada Web of Science veri tabanı kullanılmıştır. Ulaşılan çalışmalar bibliyometrik analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma alanlarına ilişkin bulgular incelendiğinde yayınların en fazla “Genel sağlık bakım hizmetleri” alanında (%24,7) ve en az “Hemşirelik” alnında (%5,2) yapıldığı görülmektedir. En fazla yayının %24,7 ile 2018 yılında yapıldığı ortaya koyulmuştur.
