Abstract
Derginizde yayınlanan örnek kitap bölümü incelediğimde öz olmadığı için kaç kelime olacağı konusunda kararsız kaldım ve bu şekilde hazırladım :
Osmanlı İmparatorluğu Balkan coğrafyasında geniş bir kara parçasında yüzyıllar boyunca yerleşik olmuştur. Bu büyük zaman diliminde tabiatıyla bu coğrafyada gerek kültürel, gerek sosyal, gerek mimari ve gerekse de tarihsel anlamda derin izler bırakmıştır. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun çözülüşü ve yıkılışı yüzyılları kapsayan bu derin izlerin silinmesi ile sonuçlanmamıştır. Bugün tüm Balkan coğrafyası Osmanlı’nın silinemez izleri ile doludur.

Abstract
When I reviewed the sample book chapter published in your magazine, I was unsure how many words it would contain because it lacked substance, so I prepared it as follows:
The Ottoman Empire occupied a vast expanse of land in the Balkans for centuries. Naturally, during this vast period, it left a profound cultural, social, architectural, and historical mark on this region. The dissolution and fall of the Ottoman Empire did not erase these centuries-long, profound traces. Today, the entire Balkan region is filled with the indelible traces of the Ottoman Empire.
