Ankara's Journal of Anatolian and Rumeli Studies is a free journal that publishes twice a year, once every six months. Our journal, which establishes an academic connection between Anatolia and Rumelia (Balkans), is open to the articles of all researchers who make scientific studies in the field of Social Sciences (History-Geography-Literature-Art History-Archeology etc.). It is an academic platform that can be easily accessed by all researchers with its open access policy. Articles in the journal are checked by at least 2 referees using "blind review" method. Articles are subjected to a rigorous preliminary evaluation by screening for plagiarism and a process in accordance with publication ethics.
Our journal will change its Volume and Issue application in accordance with TRDizin Criteria for its new issue to be published in December. Our journal, which has previously followed a serial number in both Volume and Issue numbers (Vol. 1, No. 1 / Vol. 1-No. 2 / Vol. 2, No. 3 / Vol. 2, No. 4 / Vol. 3, No. 5 / Vol. 3, No. 6), will undergo this change. As of the Winter Volume 6 issue, the serial number will be tracked only by Volume number, and each Volume number will be published with its Issue number, either 1 or 2. Therefore, the new issue to be published in December 2025 will be Volume 6-Issue 2: 6(2). Respectfully announced to the public.
