Abstract
Bir şehrin, beldenin, köyün hatta bir mahallenin yapısını incelerken coğrafi olarak nerede olduğu tarihsel süreç içerisinde oynadığı rolün konumunu belirler ve sosyokültürel - sosyoekonomik yapısında belirleyici bir rol oynar. 2022 yılında Mahir Aydın tarafından hazırlanan Türk Tarih Kurumu tarafından basılan ‘’Gümülcine Sancağı 1879-1912’’ kitabı tamda bu paradigmalar çerçevesinde zaman içerisinde değişen bölgeyi ele alarak asılanda o yörede yaşayan insanların idari sistem içerisindeki yerini konumlandırmayı amaçlanmıştır.
Abstract
When examining the structure of a city, town, village, or even a neighborhood, determining its geographical location and its role within the historical process plays a decisive role in shaping its socio-cultural and socio-economic structure. The book "Gümülcine Sancağı 1879-1912" authored by Mahir Aydın and published by the Turkish Historical Society in 2022, precisely addresses this paradigm. It explores the changes in the region over time and aims to position the people living in the area within the administrative system.
