Uludağ Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi Tarih Bölümü (2000), Anadolu Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi (2008) ve Atatürk Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi (2020) Lisans mezunudur. Atatürk Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi İngiliz Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünde bir müddet Lisans öğrenimine devam etti. İstanbul Üniversitesi Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslarararası İlişkiler Bölümünde lisans öğrenimi devam etmektedir.
Atatürk Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Yeniçağ Tarihi alanında “10 Numaralı Mühimme Defterinin Transkripsiyon ve Değerlendirmesi s. 179-356” başlıklı tez ile Yüksek Lisans (2006) ve “16. Yüzyılda Ayntab Şehri” başlıklı tez ile Doktorasını (2010) tamamladı.
Bilkent Üniversitesi’nde katıldığı sınav ile Yeniçağ Tarihi bilim alanında Doçent unvanı aldı (2017). Atatürk Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Yeniçağ Tarihi Anabilimdalında Profesörlük kadrosuna atandı (2023).
Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nda öğretmen ve yönetici (2000-2008), Erzincan Üniversitesinde araştırma görevlisi ve öğretim üyesi olarak çalıştı (2008-2012). 2012 yılından itibaren Atatürk Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Tarih Bölümü Yeniçağ Tarihi Anabilim Dalında öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Adı geçen bölümde Bölüm Başkan Yardımcılığı, Osmanlı Müesseseleri ve Medeniyeti Tarih Anabilim Dalı Başkanlığı, Farabi Koordinatörlüğü görevlerini yürütmektedir.
Osmanlı Şehir Tarihi, Osmanlı Sosyal-İktisat Tarihi ve İslâm Tarihi alanında çok sayıda kitap, makale ve yurtiçi-yurtdışı bildiri sahibidir. İngilizce ve başlangıç düzeyinde Arapça, Farsça bilmektedir.
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hacısalihoğlu was born in Tonya, Trabzon, Turkey. He studied Turkish History at Ankara University and the History of Eastern and Southeastern Europe in Munich, Germany. He completed his master's thesis on The Image of Greece in Turkey (Türk Ansiklopedisi) and earned his PhD with a dissertation on The Young Turks and the Macedonian Question.
He has participated in several research projects in Germany, including Southeast European Toponymies and Comparison of Empires, and led the project The Image of the Ottoman Empire and Turkey in Contemporary History Textbooks in the Balkan and Black Sea Countries in Turkey.
Prof. Hacısalihoğlu is the founding director of the Center for Balkan and Black Sea Studies (BALKAR) at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul. His primary research interests include the history of the Balkans in the 19th and 20th centuries, Russia, the Caucasus, and the Black Sea region—particularly the history of notables (ayans) in the Black Sea area.
He has published books, edited volumes, and numerous articles on a wide range of topics related to the Ottoman Empire, Balkan history, and the Black Sea region.
05.02.1970'de Edirne'de doğdu. ilk, orta ve lise eğitimini burada tamamladıktan sonra 1992 yılında Konya Selçuk Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Tarih Öğretmenliği bölümünden mezun oldu. İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal bilimler Enstitüsü Yakınçağ Tarihi Anabilim Dalında 1995'de Yüksek Lisansını tamamladıktan sonra, 2004'de de aynı anabilim dalında Doktor unvanını aldı. 1994 yılında intisap ettiği Trakya Üniversitesi'nde 2005 yılında Eğitim Fakültesi Türkçe ve Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Bölümü Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında Dr.Öğr.Üyesi, 2023 yılından itibaren de Doç.Dr. olarak görev yapmaktadır. Evli olan Doç.Dr. Sabri Can Sannav biri erkek diğeri kız olmak üzere iki çocuk babasıdır.

Born in 1985 in Nevşehir, the researcher completed his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University's Department of Economics and his master's and doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylül University's Department of Economics. Between September 2011 and July 2012, he was a visiting researcher at Istanbul University's Department of Economic History, and between March 2012 and May 2012, he was a visiting researcher at the Directorate of Military History and Strategic Studies (ATASE). In 2015, he wrote his doctoral thesis on the Logistic Analysis of the Crimean War. He has been working as an assistant professor since 2016 and as an associate professor since 2021 at Dokuz Eylül University's Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, where he began as a research assistant in 2009. His areas of specialisation are Early Modern and Modern Ottoman Economic History.

Aim & Scope
Ankara's Journal of Anatolian and Rumeli Studies is free a journal published twice a year. Our journal aims to give an academic identity to the ongoing connection between Anatolia and Rumelia throughout history, to be a scientific guide and to give information about these regions that have influenced each other throughout history, History, Geography, Archeology, Literature, Art History, Architecture, etc. It is a Capital magazine that aims to be the center of studies in the fields and at the same time to make the unknown of these two geographies known.
In accordance with its mission, Ankara's Journal of Anatolian and Rumelia Studies brings together the studies made on Anatolia and Rumelia in different disciplines, revealing the traces of human history on the two geographies, and also how to integrate the art and architectural works that the people of the two regions come into contact with the cultural and social life. or that it is home to civilizations. In this context, our magazine will host studies on other geographies that have affected both Anatolia and Rumelia both together and separately, and to what extent the people who lived or lived in these geographies have a share in this effect, even on digital media, in ANKARAD.

All submitted articles should not be original, unpublished and in the evaluation process in another journal. Each article is double-blinded by one of the editors and at least two referees. Plagiarism, duplication, fraudulent authorship / denied authorship, research / data fabrication, article slicing, slicing publication, copyright infringement and concealing conflict of interest are considered unethical behavior.
All articles that do not comply with the accepted ethical standards are removed from the publication. This includes articles that contain potential illegal, non-conformities detected after publication.

Ankara Anadolu ve Rumeli Araştırmaları Dergisi, Altı Ayda bir olmak üzere yılda iki sayı yayımlayan ücretsiz bir dergidir. Anadolu ve Rumeli (Balkanlar) arasında akademik bir bağ kuran dergimiz, Sosyal Bilimler alanında (Tarih-Coğrafya-Edebiyat-Sanat Tarihi-Arkeoloji-vb.) ilmi çalışma yapan tüm araştırmacıların makalelerine açık bir dergidir. Açık erişim politikası ile tüm araştırmacıların kolay bir şekilde ulaşabileceği akademik bir platformdur. Dergide makaleler "kör hakemlik" yöntemi ile en az 2 hakem tarafından kontrol edilmektedir. Makaleler intihal taraması ve yayın etiğine uygun bir süreçten geçirilerek titiz bir ön değerlendirmeden geçirilmektedir.
