JOURNAL OF ATATÜRK YOLU WRITING RULES

1-GENERAL PRINCIPLES
• Manuscripts submitted to our journal must be prepared in accordance with our article template. Submissions that do not comply with the article template will not be considered for review. Please click here to access the article template. Atatürk Yolu Journal Article Template
• Our journal accepts original scientific works prepared within its accepted subject areas that have not been previously published anywhere and are not currently under review by another journal.
• Academic works prepared in both Turkish and English are considered for review.
• For papers with multiple authors, a statement of contribution and a conflict of interest declaration must be submitted by the authors during the submission process.
• If the paper is derived from a thesis or a project, or if it was presented as a conference paper, this must be clearly stated on the first page of the manuscript. If the manuscript derived from a thesis is not two-authored (supervisor-student), a statement of renounce must be received from the thesis supervisor.
• At the time of submission, if the study was supported by any institution, organization, or funding source, this support must be clearly stated. Additionally, if there are individuals, institutions, or organizations to be acknowledged, the relevant information must be clearly included in the manuscript.
• If AI-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, etc.) were used during the article production process, the specific stages in which they were utilized must be clearly indicated. This information must be provided at the time of submission. All responsibility regarding the use of AI rests with the authors.
• The legal responsibility for articles published in the journal rests with the authors.

Ethics Committee Approval
Our journal requires that the relevant ethics committee decision must be obtained for all studies in all disciplines that require ethics committee approval. In this context, authors should write the date and number of Ethics Committee approval in the “Sampling and Methods/ Materials and Methods” section.
In line with the regulations implemented by Ulakbim TR Index since 2020, studies that do not have ethics committee permission are not evaluated in our journal.
Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Approval
Studies requiring ethics committee approval in our journal include the following:
• All research conducted using qualitative or quantitative approaches that involve collecting data from participants through methods such as surveys, interviews, focus group studies, observation, and interview techniques.
• Retrospective studies within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law.
For such studies to be considered for evaluation, the relevant ethics committee approvals must have been obtained and clearly stated in the article text.
