Tokat-U ğrak havzas ı nda ölçülen günlük ya ğmurlar ı n erozyon indeksi, her bir yağmur olay ı n ı n toplam kinetik enerjisi ve 30 dakikal ı k maksimum şiddetine göre saptanmışt ı r. Gözlem süresinde 1978-1998 150 erozyona sebep olan ya ğmur olay ı belirlenmi ş ve bunlar ı n erozyon indeksi ve yağmur miktarlar ı aras ı nda ilişki kurulmuştur. Havzada bir y ı lda meydana gelen erozyona sebep olan yağmur olayı n ı n say ı s ı yı llara göre 2-15 aras ı nda değişmiştir. Gözlem süresi için erozyona sebep olan yağmur olaylar ı n ylll ı k ortalamas ı 7.9 bulunmuştur. Ayl ı k erozyon indeksi değerleri 0.20-14.52 MJ.cm/ha.saat, y ı ll ı k erozyon indeksi değerleri 0.40-24.16 MJ.cm/ha.saat aras ı nda değişmiştir. Ayl ı k ve yı ll ı k erozyon indeksi değerlerinin log-normal dağı l ı ma uygun olduğu saptanm ışt ı r.
Erosion index' of daily rainfall measured in Tokat-Ugrak watershed was determined according to total kinetic energy and maximum 30 min intensity of each erosive storm. During the obse ıvation period 1978-1998 150 erosive storms were determined and a relationship between erosion index and rainfall amount was obtained. Between the years 1978 and 1998, the number of erosive events in each year varied between 2 and 15. The average number of erosive events for a year was found to be 7.9 during the observation period. Monthly erosive index values varied between 0.20 and 14.52 MJ.cm/ha.hour, yearly erosive index values varied between 0.40 and 24.16 MJ.cm/ha.hour It was determined that monthly and yearly erosion index values were fitted to log-normal probability distribution.
