Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, bazı ayva Cydonia oblonga Mill. genotiplerinde yaprak disklerinden in vitro sürgün organogenesisini uyarmaktır. Çalışmada bitkisel materyal olarak, Quince A bodur , S.Ö.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to stimulate organogenesis of in vitro shoots from leaf discs in some quince Cydonia oblonga Mill. genotypes. Quince A dwarf , S.Ö. Sabahattin Özbek 39-200 dwarf , S.Ö. 18-82 semi dwarf and S.Ö. 58-315 vigorous clonal rootstocks, and Eşme, Limon, and Çukurgöbek cultivars were used as plant materials. Effects of TDZ + NAA combinations or BA + NAA, AgNO and putrescine treatments were investigated in two experiments for organogenesis. Shoot organogenesis was significantly induced on MS Murashige and Skoog basal medium containing 0.33 mg/l TDZ + 0.5mg/l NAA + 2.0 mg/l AgNO3. The rate of shoot formation was 80.0% in Quince A, 56.7% in S.Ö. 39-200, 17.5% in S.Ö. 18-82, 37.5% in S.Ö. 58-315, 36.7% in Eşme, 40.0% in Limon, and 43.3% in Çukurgöbek. The average shoot number per leaf disc was changed between 0.4 and 2.7 among genotypes
