Physokermes piceae Schrank Yumrulu Ladin Koşnili Hemiptera: Coccidae ’nin Biyolojik Özellikleri

Öz

Physokermes piceae ladinlerin önemli bir zararlısıdır. Bu zararlının biyolojik özellikleri 2001-2003 yılları arasında Piceae pungens üzerinde Ankara’nın şehir ekosisteminde araştırılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda P. piceae’nin yılda bir döl verdiği, kışı II. larva döneminde geçirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Ovipar olan P. piceae, yumurtalarını vücut altında oluşan iki yumurta odacığına depolamaktadır. Yumurtlama mayıs ayında başlamakta ve haziran sonu temmuz ayı başında hareketli larvalar görülmektedir. II. nimf dönemi eylül-mayıs ayları arasında, ergin erkek ve dişiler nisan ortasından haziran ayının ikinci yarısına kadar görülmektedir. P. piceae erkekleri ibrelerin alt yüzeylerinde, dişiler ise dallarda bulunmaktadır. Bu türde erkeklerin populasyondaki oranı %54.37, dişilerin % 45.62 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Yumurta sayısı, 2001 yılında ortalama 844.63 ±49.09, 2002 yılında ise 925.35 ±49.84 adet saptanmıştır

Biological Aspects of Physokermes piceae Schrank Spruce Bud Scale Hemiptera: Coccidae

Abstract

Physokermes piceae is an important pest of spruce species. Its some biological aspects were studied on blue spruce Picea pungens in Ankara urban ecosystem in 2001-2003. The results showed that P. piceae has one generation in a year and overwintered as the second larval stage. These oviparous insects stored their eggs in two chambers under their bodies. Oviposition started in May and crawlers appeared in the end of June beginning of July. The second larval stage appeared September-May period. Adult males and females were observed in the middle of April till in the middle of June. Males mostly infested the lower needle surfaces while females preferred the surfaces of young brunches. The ratio of the males in the population was 54.37 % while the females comprised 45.62 % of the population. Number of egg was detected 844.63 ±49.09 in 2001, 925.35 ±49.84 in 2002 years
