Bu çal ış mada, doğ al koşullarda yeti şmiş tavuklar ı n körbarsak floras ı ndan izole edilen Lactobacillüs türleri tan ı mlanarak proteolitik aktiviteler' ve organik asit olu şturma özellikleri belirlenrneye çal ışı lm ışt ı r. Sonuç olarak, izole edilen bakteriler aras ı nda en çok Lactobacillus femı entum türünün oldu ğ u tespit edilmiştir, Ayr ı ca en yüksek proteolitik aktivite Lactobacillus salivanus 19'da, en yüksek laktik asit üretimi ise Lactobacillus plantarum S78'de gözlenmi ştir.
In this study proteolitic activities and lactic acid production properties of lactobaciili isolated from cecum flora of naturally grown broiler chickens were investigated. As a result, among investigated strains, L. fermentum was determined as the commonly found one, In addition to that, the highest proteolitic activity was shown by L. salivarıus 19 and the highest lactic acid producer strain was determined as L. plantarum S78
