Logistik Regresyon Analizi ve Genetik Çalışmalara Ait Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Bu çal ışmada, polychotomous ikiden çok seviye içeren ba ğı ml ı değ işken logistik regresyon analizinin teorik aç ı klamalar ı , hesaplama ad ı mları , genetik verilere uygulanmas ı ve elde edilen sonuçlar ı n yorumlanmas ı yap ı lmışt ı r. Dört farkl ı bı ld ı rc ı n hatt ı S, K, B, VV ve üç farkl ı Pgi genotipinin Pgi4A, PgiA8 , PgiB8 oluşturduğ u çapraz tabloda yer alan frekanslardan yararlanarak, Pgi genotipleri bak ı mı ndan b ı ld ı rc ı n hatları n ı n birbirinden olan genetik farkl ı l ı kları tespit edilmiş ve bunun sonucu olarak populasyonlar aras ı nda olas ı genetik farkl ı l ı klar ı n tespit edilmesinde logistik regresyon analizinden etkin bir şekilde yararlan ı labileceğ i ifade edilmiştir.

Logistic Regression Analysis and an Application to Genetic Studies

Abstract

In this study, technical expressions, calculating steps and application of polychotomous logistic regression analysis to genetic data are illustrated. Interpretation of results are further discussed. Genetic differences among different quail lines were determined using frequences obtained from a cross table formed by four different quail lines S, K, B, VV and three different Pgi genotypes Pgim, Pg?" , Pg?" . It was also confirmed that logistic regression analysis can be used in determining the possible genetic differences among populations.
