Abstract
Bu çalışma. Anadolu Topluluklarının boy uzunlukla:inin hesaplan masında bugüne kadar kullanılan uzun kemiklerin (fenıur. libia. fibul.ı, humervv. radius ve ulna) bulunmadığı ya dao&çii alınamayacak derecede tahrip oldufcu durumlarda mctacarpuller yardımıyla yapacağımız boy uzunluğu hesaplamasının ne derecede doğruluk goucrecc^i amacıyla yu- p im id ir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma materyali olarak Van-Di İkaya kazılarından çıkarılan ve Orta Çağ olarak tan hlend irilen 36 erkek ve 25 kadın iskeletine ait mclacarpal ölçülmüş ve hesaplanan boy uzunluk km, uzun kemiklerle karşılaştın İm ıştır
