Arthroscopic "wash-out" and immunologic level in gonarthrosis

Abstract

C3-C4-Ig A-Ig G-Ig M levels in gonarthrosis were measured before "was-out" and theree months later in synovial fluid, and the values were compared with the control group. The levels found for Ig A and Ig G were significantly lower then in the control group and alsd pain disapeared in the patients while the C3-C4 and Ig levels remanied the same. The disturbance in permeabilty and complement fixation of the tissue was thought to be the reason of the high levels.
