Abstract

Charcot s joint is a destructive arthropathy, which develops in weight bearing joints, due to pain and proprioseptive sensory absence. it is most often seen in the knee. the hip, and ankle. Vertebra is rarely involved. An 18 year-old women treated by the diagnosis with Charcot s joint involved vertebra plus knee is reported.

Abstract

Charcot eklemi yük taşıyan eklemlerde, ağrı ve proprioseptif duyu yokluğu nedeniyle gelişen, destrüktif bir artropatidir. Sıklıkla dizde, kalçalarda ve ayak bileğinde görülür. Vertebra nadiren tutulur. Vertebra ve dizi tutan Charcot eklemi teşhisi konarak tedavi gören 18 yaşında bir kadın hasta bildirilmektedir.
