Abstract
In this study, we injected of methylprednisolone acetate on the posttraumatized achilles tendons of the adult male rats. Therefore we applied its tension forces and evaluated eeffects. Twenty one rats were classified three groups. First group was used to examine the effect of trauma the second to examine the effect of injection of methylprednisolone acetate on the posttraumatized tendons and result of tendon forces; the third grohistological. We decided that methylprednisone acetate has no deleterious effect on the rat achilles tendon as measured biomechanically and histologically.

Abstract
Bu çalışmada biz adult erkek sıçanların travma sonrası aşil tendonlarına metilpredzolon asetat enjeksiyonu yaptık. Daha sonra tendonlara germe kuvveti uyguladık ve etkilerini değerlendirdik. 21 fare 3 gruba ayrıldı. 1. grup travmanın etkısini kontrol için, 2 grup travma sonrası tendonlara metilpredzolon asetat enjeksiyonlarının etkisini ve kuvvet uygulanmasının sonucunu kontrol için, 3. grup ise kontrol grubu olarak sınıflandırıldı. Daha sonra fareler sakrifiye edildi. Aşil tendonları hem biomekanik hem de histolojik değerlendirildi. Biz metilpredzolon asetatın fare aşil tendonları üzerine biomekanik ve histolojik olarak değerlendirildiği gibi zararlı bir etkisinin olmadığına karar verdik.
