Abstract

In this study mechanical properties of bone has been investigated by microhardness measurements on the eight different pieces cut from a femur that has been deformed on instron machine for another idea previously. All pieces were polished by metaliogrophic methods. It has been tried to find out the relalionship between mechanical properties and microstructure. The effect of Havers and Volkmann canals on the propagation of crack ond mechanical anisoropy has been studied.

Abstract

Daha önceden başka bir çalışma için İnstron cihazında deforme edilmiş kemikten sekiz değişik parça kesilmiş bu parçaların mikrosertlik ölçümleri ile kemliğin mekanik özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Bütün parçalar metalografik metodlarla cilalanmış, mekanik özellikler ile mikrostrüktür arasındaki ilişkinin bulunmasına çalışılmıştır. Havers ve Volkmann kanallarının kırığın yayılma ve mekanik anizotropisine etkisi araştırılmıştır.
