A case of epiphysiolysis in the proximal one-third of the tibia

Abstract

The fractures of the proximal epiphyseal cartilage are very rare. Since the collateral ligaments have no attachments, they can not produce an avulsion force through the ligaments. The case presented here is an eight years old boy and a good example for type 1.

Abstract

Tibia üst uç epifiz lezyonları çok ender olgulardır. 1970;1979 seneleri arasında Cerrahpaşa Ortopedi ve Travmatoioii kliniğine müracaat eden kırık ve epifiz lezyonları içersinde sadece bir olguya rastlanmıştır. Tip 1'e uyan bu olgunun geliş durumu ve tedavi sonrası filmleri takdim edildi.
