Abstract

We participated in orthopaedic standpoint to a field study organised by İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine Commonity Health Department around Yozgat province. We examined 500 people at Bişek village and searched for orthopaedic diseases and investigated their previus treatments. This study revealed numbers of untreated orthopaedic cases. Therefore this study is presented in the hope of to stimulate further studies.

Abstract

İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Koruyucu Hekimlik ve Halk Sağlığı kürsüsünün, Fakülte bünyesinde organize ettiği Yozgat ili çevresindeki araştırmaya bizde ortopedik yönden katılmayı uygun bulduk. Bişek köyünün 500 kişisi üzerinde çalış;ma programı düzenliyerek ortopedik yönden hastalıklar ve bu hastalıkların anamnezleri ve hastaların görmüş oldukları tedavileri araştırmamızın esas amacı yaparak olgularımızı bu yönden değerlendirirken hiç tedavi edilmemiş doğuştan kalça çıkığı olguları bulunduğunu gördük. Bu araştırmamızı ileriki araştırmalarımıza ışık tutacağı gerekçesi ile yayınlamayı yararlı bulduk.
