Open Access Policy

Alternatif Politika is completely "open access" and free of charge from the first issue.

  • All issues published in Alternatif Politika can be accessed free of charge and completely open access via https://alternatifpolitika.com
  • On the Dergipark page of Alternatif Politika, the process of integrating our archive into the Dergipark system is currently underway. Our archive since "Vol. 13, Issue 2, June 2021" has been transferred to the Dergipark system and can be accessed free of charge. We are undertaking further efforts to add our previous issues to the system.

Our journal uses the term "open access" as defined in the Budapest Open Access Initiative declaration in the sense that "its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself." All articles published in Alternatif Politika are freely available to everyone, provided that they adhere to academic values and norms.
