Academic Platform-Journal of Engineering and Science is a peer-reviewed journal with a focus on all areas of theoterical/applied science and engineering. The journal publishes original research and review articles by aiming at sharing technological innovations and newly updated academic research findings. It is believed, in this sense, that the journal will play an important role to build a world-wide scientific environment by bringing the researchers, academicians, government, and industry stakeholders all over the world. The language of the Journal is both Turkish and English.
There are two key principles that Academic Platform-Journal of Engineering and Science was founded on: Firstly, to publish the most exciting researches with respect to the subjects of engineering and science. Secondly, to provide a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing, and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes.
All published articles will be assigned DOI provided by CrossRef. Academic Platform-Journal of Engineering and Science will keep up to date with latest advances in the field and papers published in the journal will reach the readers directly on the web site: www.apjes.com providing the international scientific community with immediate and permanent access to individual papers.
The publication ethics and malpractice statement is mainly based on the Code of Conduct and Best-Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (Committee on Publication Ethics, 2011).
The journal is published
three times in a year in January, May and September. The distinguished
scientific committee members were selected from a wide range of
scientific area to cover and evaluate the papers in a rigorous way.
The journal accepts only the original scientific researches. It is essential that the information created in scientific study needs to be new, suggest new method or give a new dimension to an existing information.
The journal scope covers, though it is not limited to, the following topics:
submitted for publication are evaluated by two or three referees (if
needed) and final acceptance and rejection decision are taken by
editorial board. The authors are not informed about the name of referees
who evaluate the papers. In similar way, the referees are not allowed
to see the names of authors. The papers which do not satisfy the
scientific level of the journal can be refused with unexplained reason.
Any information about a submitted manuscript cannot be disclosed by the editor and any other editorial staff to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher. No confidential information or ideas obtained through peer review can be used for personal advantage.
It is authors` responsibility to submit only entirely original works and properly cite or quote the work and/or words of others. When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and to cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper in form of an erratum.
