Abstract

The studies in biomechanics and biomedical engineering are increasing in our country. One of the issues interested by researchers is the skeletal muscle. However, it is extremely difficult to find a source which is discussed mechanical properties of skeletal muscle in Turkish. In this study, macro and micro structure of skeletal muscle have been introduced and discussed biomechanics properties using actual and fundamental publications. Additionally, it is mentioned about EMG signals which are being major importance to understand the mechanical properties of the muscles.
