Aim & Scope

To produce original scholarly publications in the fields of Ancient Languages and Cultures, Hittitology, Sumerology, Assyriology, Latin Language and Literature, and Ancient Greek Language and Literature. To conduct pioneering studies of philological materials related to these fields and present them to the academic community. 

The primary scope of our journal includes studies that analyze cuneiform documents in Sumerian, Akkadian, Hittite, and Hurrian, as well as Greek and Latin inscriptions and archaeological materials. In addition, original research in the field of the ancient history of Anatolia and Mesopotamia falls within the journal’s scope.

Our journal’s target audience consists of academics, researchers, experts, relevant professionals, master’s and doctoral students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students working in the fields covered by the journal.

Our journal accepts original scientific studies prepared in the accepted subject areas that have not been previously published anywhere and are not currently under review by another journal.

Our journal is an open-access scientific journal that employs an independent, double-blind peer review system.

Manuscript submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. There are no time restrictions for manuscript submission.

Our journal adheres to the ethical publishing principles published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the open access and ethical publishing principles adopted by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), it conducts its publication processes in accordance with these international standards.
