Archiving and Data Distribution Policy

• Artuklu Kaime sends the articles it publishes to electronic archives on an open access basis without any action by the author(s) and makes them fully accessible. The author or funding organization can upload a copy of the author's accepted article to the archive sites.
• Artuklu Kaime undertakes to keep all articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and to store the full text content on archive platforms and on its website on its website.

1) Articles published in Artuklu Kaime are digitally archived in LOCKSS. In addition, published articles can be accessed by the author in the institutional archive (DSpace, AVESIS, etc.) of the university where the author works, in thematic archives or in any other archive without an embargo period. Thus, anyone can access this publication immediately and free of charge.
2) Artuklu Kaime allows authors to use the final published version of an article for self-archiving (author's personal website, social media accounts) and/or archiving in an institutional repository (DSpace, AVESIS, etc.) after publication.
3) Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based repositories. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be cited and a link to the journal home page or DOI of the articles must be set.
4) Authors and readers can download the PDF file of the article.
5) Artuklu Kaime magazine uses the LOCKSS system to allow the creation of permanent archives. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS program provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, low-cost, open source digital preservation tools to ensure access to permanent and authorized digital content. The LOCKSS program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “securing the greatest number of copies.” The LOCKSS program enhances and supports libraries using open source end-to-end digital preservation software.
