The ARU Journal of Art History Studies is the official publication of the Department of Art History in the Faculty of Humanities and Literature at Ardahan University. Our journal is an international, peer-reviewed, electronic publication. It is published twice a year, in May and October. We accept article submissions throughout the year. However, articles submitted after April 1 will be considered for the October issue and articles submitted after September 1 will be considered for the May issue. The languages of publication are primarily Turkish, as well as English, Russian, and Georgian.
Our international, peer-reviewed (double-blind) electronic journal publishes national and international articles with the mission of contributing to the literature by publishing theoretical and/or applied articles that advance the field of art history.
The ARU Art History Research Journal aims to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and to the art history community by publishing articles of a quality that meets international publication standards.
In some cases, the journal may publish more than twice a year by issuing special issues announced in advance.
