‘’Sporda Ruminasyon’’ Kavramının Görsel Haritalar ile Gerçekleştirilmiş Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Bu çalışma, sporcularda ruminasyonla ilgilenen literatürü bibliyometrik analiz kullanarak incelemektedir. Web of Science veri bankasında bulunan 163 yayının kapsamlı bir incelemesi sonucunda 147 makale ile analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Atıf analizi sonuçlarına göre, Marsh (2013), Curran (2015) ve Birrer (2012) gibi yazarlar bu alandaki öncü çalışmalarıyla dikkat çekerken, Psychology of Sport and Exercise ve Journal of Sport & Exercise Psychology en çok atıf alan dergiler arasında yer almaktadır. Anahtar kelime eş-zamanlılık analizi, ruminasyon ile depresyon, stres ve anksiyete gibi kavramlar arasında güçlü ilişkiler olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu durum, ruminasyonun sporcuların ruh sağlığı ve performansı üzerindeki etkisinin derinlemesine ele alınması gerekliliğinin altını çizmektedir. Ülke ve üniversite düzeyinde yapılan analizler, bu alandaki bilimsel üretimin büyük ölçüde Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Almanya ve İngiltere gibi ülkelerde yoğunlaştığını, Quebec Üniversitesi ve Bath Üniversitesi gibi kurumların ise çalışmalara önemli katkılarda bulunduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma, literatürdeki bu eğilimleri görselleştirmekte ve gelecekteki araştırmalara rehberlik edecek önemli öngörüler sunmaktadır. Ruminasyonun kültürel farklılıklar ve spor türleri üzerindeki etkilerinin daha fazla araştırılması, bu alandaki bilgi tabanını genişletmek adına önemli fırsatlar sunmaktadır.

‘’Rumination in Sport ‘’ Bibliometric Analysis of the Concept Performed with Visual Maps

Abstract

This study examines the literature dealing with rumination in athletes using bibliometric analysis. After a comprehensive review of 163 publications obtained from the Web of Science database, 147 articles were analyzed. According to the results of the citation analysis, authors such as Marsh (2013), Curran (2015) and Birrer (2012) stand out with their pioneering work in this field, while Psychology of Sport and Exercise and Journal of Sport & Exercise Psychology are among the most cited journals. Keyword co-occurrence analysis shows that there are strong relationships between rumination and concepts such as depression, stress and anxiety. This situation underlines the need to address the impact of rumination on athletes' mental health and performance in depth. Analyses at the country and university level reveal that scientific production in this field is largely concentrated in countries such as the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom, while institutions such as the University of Quebec and the University of Bath have made significant contributions to the studies. The study visualizes these trends in the literature and provides important insights to guide future research. Exploring the impact of rumination on cultural variations and different types of sports presents valuable opportunities to broaden the understanding in this area.
