Sedanter Erkeklerde Akut Tüm Vücut Titreşiminin El Kavrama Kuvvetine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlıklı akut tüm vücut titreşiminin sedanter erkek öğrencilerde el kavrama kuvvetine olan etkisinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmaya, 18-25 yaş arasında 30 gönüllü sedanter erkek öğrenci katılmıştır. Katılımcılar, rastgele yöntemiyle tüm vücut titreşim uygulaması ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Katılımcıların el kavrama kuvveti el dinamometresi ile belirlemiştir. El kavrama kuvveti, herhangi bir egzersiz uygulamadan ve tüm vücut titreşim uyguladıktan sonar olmak üzere ölçülmüştür. Katılımcıların el kavrama kuvveti performansının ön test son test arasındaki farkı Paired Sample t test, gruplararası karşılaştırmalarda ise independent sample t testi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre her tüm vücut titreşim grubunun uygulama sonrası el kavrama kuvveti performansında bir gelişme olmadığı ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmadığı belirlenmiştir (p>0.05). Sonuç olarak, akut vibrasyon uygulamasının el kavrama kuvveti performansını arttırmadığı söylenebilir.
