Applied Science, Policy and Economics Research (ASPER) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to contribute to the production of scientific knowledge by publishing original and high-quality scholarly works in the field of social sciences. The journal seeks to bring together theoretical and empirical research, interdisciplinary approaches, and current academic discussions in line with scientific ethical principles, making these accessible to both national and international academic communities.
ASPER adopts the fundamental mission of contributing to the international social sciences literature and encourages studies that can offer innovative contributions to the field. The journal is committed to evaluating theoretical and applied research in accordance with scientific quality standards and thereby aims to produce publications that are internationally accessible, traceable, and of high academic impact.
ASPER operates under a continuous publication (online first) model, whereby articles whose editorial review and peer review processes have been completed are published online without waiting for a scheduled issue period. Through this approach, it is aimed to bring research findings into academic circulation more rapidly, to increase the visibility and citation potential of published works, and to strengthen the effectiveness of scientific communication processes. The journal continues its publishing activities on the basis of a transparent and accountable editorial management approach, an independent and impartial double-blind peer review process, and full compliance with publication ethics principles.
ASPER gives priority to original research-based studies in the disciplines of Finance, Economics, International Trade and Logistics, Banking and Insurance, Public Finance, Business Administration, and other related social science fields. The journal covers studies based on both quantitative and qualitative research methods and particularly encourages interdisciplinary research.
The journal accepts research articles, review articles, and case studies. Manuscripts submitted to the journal may be prepared in English or Turkish. Manuscripts that fall outside the scope of the journal or do not meet scientific adequacy criteria may be directly rejected by the editor without being taken into the peer review process.
It is mandatory for manuscripts submitted to the journal to be prepared in accordance with the specified writing guidelines and the journal template, and submissions that do not comply with these requirements are rejected without being taken into the evaluation process. The views expressed in published articles and the scientific responsibility for their content belong to the author or authors and bear no relation to the journal.
