Authors must screen the similarity rate of their manuscripts using iThenticate or Turnitin plagiarism detection software and upload the report to the system in the file upload section. The review process is initiated for manuscripts with a similarity rate below 20% (excluding the reference list); submissions exceeding this threshold are rejected. Authors who wish to submit an article to the journal must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal template and the guidelines below before submission; manuscripts that do not comply are rejected without being taken into the evaluation process.
General Rules
- Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published anywhere.
- Manuscripts may be prepared using Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or LibreOffice; however, they must be uploaded to the system in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The page layout must be checked before the file is uploaded.
- Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the journal article template. Manuscripts that are not prepared in accordance with the template format and the specified rules will not be accepted for evaluation.
- A double-blind peer review system is applied in the journal. For this reason, author information must not appear in any section of the manuscript.
- The manuscript, including appendices and references, must not exceed 25 pages and page numbers must not be used.
- Formulas and equations must be written using an equation editor. All equations must be numbered and left-aligned. The equation number must be placed in parentheses at the far right of the line, aligned with other numbers.
- Font: All text must be written in Times New Roman. The body text must be written in 11-point, single-spaced, and justified alignment with no first-line paragraph indent. Automatic numbering must not be used in headings. First-level headings must be written in 12-point bold; second-level headings in 11-point bold; third-level headings in 11-point bold italic. The first letter of each word must be capitalised in all heading levels. The abstract (both Öz and Abstract) must be prepared in 10-point font.
- Page layout: All margins (top, bottom, right, left) must be set to 2.5 cm and the page layout must be set to "Normal."
- The reference list must be written in 11-point font and must begin on a new page immediately after the conclusion section.
- In-text citations must be provided in parentheses in accordance with APA 7th Edition (Author Surname, Year) rather than as footnotes.
- The reference list must be arranged alphabetically by author surname.
- In cases where no author name is available for an internet source, such sources must be listed under the heading "Internet Sources" in the reference list, arranged by date of access.
- If quotations are used in tables, figures, graphs, or images, the source must be indicated. The source information must be written immediately below the relevant visual in 9-point italic, single-spaced.
- Titles of tables, figures, graphs, and images must be placed above the visual, written in 11-point Times New Roman bold and single-spaced, with the first letter of each word capitalised, and the title text must not exceed the boundaries of the visual.
- The editor and editorial board reserve the right to make formal adjustments to ensure compliance with writing guidelines without altering the content of the manuscript.
- Paragraph settings in the reference list must follow the hanging indent format with a 1.25 cm indentation.
- The reference list must begin on a new page after the manuscript text.
- Multiple works by the same author must be listed from the earliest date. Works published in the same year must be distinguished as a, b, c (e.g. 2010a, 2010b). Single-authored works by the same author must be listed before multi-authored works.
- APA 7th Edition guidelines must be followed.
- Appendices must be placed at the end of the manuscript after the reference list.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with the specified guidelines will not be taken into the evaluation process.
- More than one single-authored manuscript by the same author cannot be published in the same issue.
