Keratokonusta in Vivo Lazer Tarayıcı Konfokal Mikroskopi Bulguları

Abstract

Amaç: In vivo konfokal mikroskopi kullanarak keratokonuslu gözlerde korneal yapıları değerlendirmek
Metod; Keratokonuslu 35 hastanın 68 gözü in vivo konfokal mikroskopi ile muayene edildi. 35 hastanın 70 gözü de kontrol grubu olarak seçildi. Sonuçlar kalitatif ve kantitatif olarak değerlendirildi.
Bulgular; Keratokonuslu grupta in vivo konfokal mikroskopi bulguları arasında uzamış süperfisiyel hücreler; bazal epitelyal hücrelerde parlak reflektif materyal birikimi;belirginleşmiş,kalınlaşmış subbazal sinirler; subbazal sinirlerde yapısal değişiklikler; stromal keratositlerde düzensiz yerleşim ve belirgin reflektivite; yapısal olarak anteriyor stromal keratosit nukleusları; ön orta ve arka stromada foldlar; desme membranında foldlar saptandı. Bu bulguların hiçbiri kontrol grubunda izlenmedi.
Sonuç; Keratokonuslu gözlerde korneanın tüm tabakalarında kalitatif ve kantitatif yapısal değişiklikler izlendi. Güncelliğini hala korumakta olan bu yöntem keratokonusun da tanı ve takibinde önemli bir role sahiptir.
