For this purpose, the document analysis technique, which is one of the data collection techniques of the qualitative research method, was used to obtain reliable information about parent participation. Between 2018-2021, 50 studies consisting of articles, master's and doctoral theses written by collecting data from parents on parent participation in education were examined. In order to reach these documents, the literature was searched separately by using the keywords determined in the National Thesis Center, Google Academic, Dergipark, Ulakbim sites, and all studies on parent participation within the specified interval were examined. Then, a pool was created that includes all the studies that are thought to be related to the research topic. Among the data sources, the studies including the parents were determined among the data sources, and those that were thought to be suitable for the research purpose were determined, and the articles, master's theses and doctoral theses to be reviewed were determined. These studies, which were decided to be examined, were handled with sub-problems of purpose, publication year, place of research, education level of the sample, type of study, study method, study design and data collection tools. The analyzes and evaluations used in this study showed that the number of studies using the qualitative research method on parent participation in education is higher than the studies using the quantitative research method. In addition, it was determined that most of the studies examined took place in the cities located in the western regions, were published as articles and were sampled from the pre-school education level.
