Drama Yazarlığı ve Dramaturji Bölümü Öğrencilerinin Dramatik Yazarlık Yönelimleri: Kocaeli Üniversitesi Örneklemi

Abstract

Dramatik yazarlık eğitimine yönelik talep, tüm dünyada olduğu gibi, ülkemizde de her geçen gün artmakta; akademik eğitim almış yazar sayısı hızla çoğalmaktadır. Fakat diğer taraftan, akademik literatürde, çağdaş tiyatromuzla ilgili olarak, yazarından yönetmenine, oyuncusundan seyircisine, çalışma yapılmasına karşın, eğitim tarafı zayıf kalmış; özellikle de dramatik yazarlık eğitimi ihmal edilmiştir. Bu çalışma ise şu an yetişmekte olan dramatik yazarlara odaklanmakta ve bu bağlamda Drama Yazarlığı ve Dramaturji Bölümü öğrencilerinin dramatik yazarlık yönelimlerini anlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Kocaeli Üniversitesi Sahne Sanatları Bölümü Drama Yazarlığı ve Dramaturji Anasanat Dalı örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma, öğrencilerin temel yönelimleri, dramaturjik yönelimleri, mesleki ve ticari yönelimleri, etik ve iradi yönelimleri, reji ve teknoloji yönelimleri olmak üzere beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Söz konusu araştırmada anket yöntemine başvurulmuş; kapalı uçlu soru tekniği ve Likert ölçeği bazlı maddelerle karma yapı içinde tasarlanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, sayısal kodlara dönüştürülerek yüzdelik dilimlere ulaşılmış ve aritmetik ortalama ile veri analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Dramatic Writing Orientations of the Students of Drama Writing and Dramaturgy Department: The Sample of Kocaeli University

Abstract

The demand for dramatic writing education is increasing day by day in our country as it is all over the world; the number of writers with academic education is increasing rapidly. However, on the other hand, in the academic literature, although there have been studies on our contemporary theatre, from the writer to the director, from the actor to the audience, the education side has remained weak; especially dramatic writing education has been neglected. This study, on the other hand, focuses on the playwrights who are currently being trained and aims to understand the dramatic writing orientations of the students of the Department of Dramatic Writing and Dramaturgy. In this context, Kocaeli University’s Department of Performing Arts, Branch of Drama Writing and Dramaturgy was chosen as the sample. The research consists of five sections: students' basic orientations, dramaturgical orientations, professional and commercial orientations, ethical and volitional orientations, direction and technology orientations. The questionnaire method was used in this research; it was designed in a mixed structure with closed-ended question technique and Likert scale based items. The data obtained were converted into numerical codes, percentages were reached and data analyses were performed with arithmetic mean.
