Today, it is seen that there is a tendency towards domestic consumption products among consumers such as protecting the welfare of the country they live in or the nation they belong to, ensuring the economic development of the country or the continuity of the local population in employment. Therefore, examining the tendencies of consumers towards domestic products, both in terms of businesses and researchers, draws attention as an important issue. It is known that there are many different factors that affect the final purchasing decisions of consumers. Therefore, it is seen that different behavior patterns have been examined in recent years on consumption. Among these behavioral patterns, there are significant increases in research on ethnocentric tendencies.The subject of ethnocentric consumption is expressed as a field that has antecedents within itself and analyzes the preferences of consumers between domestic products and foreign products. From this point of view, the aim of the study is to reveal how the ethnocentric tendency affects the consumption of tourists. In this context, the effect of ethnocentric tendencies on the realization of tourists' holiday purchasing decisions was investigated and the results were analyzed in SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences - IBM 22) environment. As a result of the study, it is seen that domestic tourists who spend their holidays in Datça have ethnocentric tendencies in the decision-making processes. Also, a real Turk always buys products from Turkish tourism establishments (4.30); It is not correct to buy the products produced by foreign enterprises (4,28); You should only travel to opportunities that cannot be accessed in Turkey (4,28); Barriers should be placed on the importation of foreign products in tourism (4,27).
