The data from the research were collected with the values checklist and semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. The data obtained were subjected to content analysis and the findings of the research were revealed. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the values of honesty, friendship, love, and aesthetics are the highest in the illustrated children's books with the theme of migration, and protection of cultural heritage, respect, and justice values are the least. Along with these results, situations contrary to the values found in the books were also revealed. It has been revealed that situations contrary to values such as war, hostility, insecurity, racism, captivity, and death are frequently included in the books. At the same time, primary school teachers see immigration-themed children's picture books as a tool that can be used in value teaching, and they criticize the language and expression aspects of the books because they contain fear and violence.
