Abstract
Inflation is a macro-economic problem that has affected world economies and our country's economy in different periods in the historical process. The concept of inflation, which is defined as "continuous increases in the general level of prices", emerges as an important economic problem affecting all societies in the historical process. The recent high inflation problem in our country affects both fixed income and businesses. Logistics companies are among the types of businesses affected by inflation. Logistics covers the entire supply process, starting from the supply of raw materials required for the production of the product and service, to the end point where the product and service is consumed. Therefore, the logistics sector is a locomotive sector and one of the sectors most affected by inflation. The continuous increase in the inflation rate causes the costs of the enterprises to increase and is affected by the price increases of the logistics enterprises that actively use energy and labor input in the service production process. This situation causes uncertainty for businesses. Therefore, in this study, it is investigated how businesses operating in the logistics sector are also affected by high inflation. It has been researched how the logistics enterprises operating at every stage of the supply chain from the beginning to the end are affected by the high inflation experienced in the recent periods and what measures they take against inflation. The universe of the research; It consists of enterprises operating in the logistics sector in Samsun and Ordu provinces. The research sample consists of 24 businesses. Research data will be collected through a questionnaire and the analysis of these data has been analyzed in the SPSS.22 program.
