This study aims to investigate various bibliometric indicators in the context of theses on medical tourism in Turkey between 2008-2018. The data was obtained from the Higher Education Council National Thesis Center. A total of 38 theses were reached by searching the related database using the keyword “medical tourism” and 31 of these were open access and investigated in terms of bibliometric indicators. Parameters include the structure of summaries, level of degrees, design of research, type of institutions, title of supervisors, year and cities, number of pages, number of sample population and issues related to medical tourism. The study findings are of help for the researchers who will carry on empirical studiees on medication tourism in the future to generate new ideas for their theses by showing its development over the last decade.
