ATAD journal, not only in the field of history, but also in different disciplines of social sciences such as History of Religions, History of Sects, Regional Studies, Political Science, International Relations and Political Science, International Relations and Foreign Policy, can include critical analyses and researches that can bring new perspectives to the field of social sciences such as History of Religions, History of Sects, Regional Studies, Political Science, International Relations and Political Science, International Relations and Foreign Policy, as well as critical analyses and researches that can make theoretical and methodological contributions to these fields, as well as book introductions and article translations that will be the subject of the above disciplines or interdisciplinary fields.

ATAD continues to publish scientific studies in two issues per year through DergiPark. ATAD provides free access to scientific studies published in the journal by adopting an open access policy.

The articles to be submitted to the ATAD Journal should be prepared in the following format.
IMPORTANT:

Your article should be uploaded to my website in Word format using this template. Manuscripts that do not comply with the template and do not comply with the spelling rules will be rejected directly.

Page Layout:
1. A4 Vertical, Margins should be top-bottom:3, right-left: 2.
2. When creating the text, the top and bottom should be selected as 6 nk from the paragraph text box in the word programme.
3. Line spacing should be single.
Font Family:
1. Palatino Linotype,
2. Main headings 11
3. The text should be written in 10 point font size.
Each study should consist of the following main headings respectively;
Title
The title of the article should clearly reflect its content and be inclusive. The initial letter of each word, except conjunctions, should be capitalised. The English title of the article should be included immediately below the title.
Abstract
It should clearly and briefly reflect the purpose, scope, method and results of the article. The abstract section of the article should be between 150-300 words. Abstract section should be placed just below the abstract section.
Keywords
At least 4 keywords reflecting the integrity of the article should be determined. Keywords section should be included just below the Abstract section.
INTRODUCTION
The basis of the subject of the article, summary information about the parts of the study, its equivalent in the scientific literature, the importance of the research, the research problem and objectives should be detailed in the introduction.
DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In the light of the importance of the research, the findings obtained should be discussed with the literature and author comments. In the conclusion part, the main ideas that emerged in the light of the discussions should be explained. Suggestions should be made in accordance with the discussion and conclusion of the study.
REFERENCES
1. References should be prepared in accordance with MLA. In-text references and citations should be given in the language of the full text.

Attachments
1. Additional tables, figures, graphs and pictures should be given on a new page after the bibliography. Each appendix should be categorised as Appendix 1, Appendix 2 and each appendix should be titled separately.
Tables and Figures
2. Table and Figure title and text properties should be given by considering the structure in the examples in the template. Table titles should be shown above the table and figure titles should be shown below the figure.
3. Tables should be justified to the text borders.
4. Table titles and text should be in 10 pt.
5. Table and its number in bold, e.g. Table 1.
6. Table Title If the figure is in a graphic and editable format, the title and internal text should be in 10 pt.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

ATAD is published electronically in the ULAKBIM DergiPark platform as "Refereed Journal" status as 2 issues a year.
Manuscripts submitted for publication in ATAD must not have been previously published elsewhere or sent for publication. Studies previously presented at congresses are accepted provided that this is stated. If the article includes some of the topics in a previously published article of the author(s), this should be indicated and a copy of the previous article should be sent with the new article.


All manuscripts submitted to the journal are scanned with the Turnitin programme. The Editor or Editorial Board Member has the authority not to publish manuscripts that do not comply with the publication conditions, to send them back to the author(s) for correction, to edit them in format or to reject them. The Editor or Editorial Board Member sends the manuscript to the consultant(s) for review. If necessary, corrections may be requested from the author(s). Requesting corrections from the author does not mean that the manuscript will be published. These corrections must be completed and sent to the journal within 15 days at the latest. Otherwise, it is considered as a new submission. The corresponding author is informed about the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
All works submitted for publication in the journal are examined in the "iThenticate" plagiarism programme. As a result of this examination, the plagiarism/similarity rate is maximum 15%.

- The ethical, scientific and legal responsibility of the articles published in the journal belongs to the author(s) and does not reflect the views of the Editor and Editorial Board members.


- The manuscript material will not be returned to the authors, whether or not it is accepted for publication in the journal. No royalties are paid for the articles published in the journal.


Editorial Language of the Journal
The journal is written in Turkish and English. Articles in Turkish are included with English abstracts. During the preparation of the manuscript, the Turkish Language Institution (www.tdk.gov.tr) can be used for Turkish words.
