Abstract

Talon tüberkülü maksiller ve mandibular ön dişlerin mine sement bileşim bölgelerinde veya singulumlarında görülen nadir bir diş anomalisidir. Etiyolojisi tam alarak bilinmemektedir, fakat genetik ve çevresel faktörlerin etkili olduğu düşünülmektedir. Dental anomaliler içinde görülme sıklığı %1’den azdır. Konuşma bozukluğu, okluzal çatışma, dil yaralanmaları, estetik ve çürük gibi klinik problemlere neden olabilir. Bu nedenler için erken tanı bu anomalide önemlidir. Bu olgu sunumunda 11 yaşındaki kız çocuğunun sağ üst santral dişinde talon tüberkülü tespit edildi. Çürük dokusu dikkatlice kaldırıldı ve gıda retansiyonunu önlemek için rezin kompozit ile restore edildi. İntraoral muayenede klinik problemlere rastlanmadı. Ancak talon tüberkülü ortodontik tedavi sırasında okluzal ilişkilerin korunması için kademeli olarak kaldırıldı
