İSKELETSEL SINIF III MALOKLUZONUN ERKEN DÖNEM TEDAVİSİ (VAKA RAPORU)

Abstract

Bu vaka raporu dar bir maksillaya, 3 mm overbite ve 3 mm negatif overjetle karakterize iskeletsel Sınıf III anomaliye sahip, kronolojik yaşı 8 yıl 4 ay olan bir kız hastanın Frankel’in fonksiyonel regülatörü (FR III) ile tedavisini sunmaktadır. Sabit ortodontik aygıtlar kullanılmaksızın sadece FR III aygıtı ile yapılan 18 aylık tedavi sonucunda profilde belirgin bir düzelme olduğu, ayrıca ideal overjet ve overbite’ın sağladığı gözlendi. Elde edilen bu değişiklikler 3,5 yıl sonra da korunmuştu. Bu vaka raporu, Sınıf III maloklüzyonlu hastaların Frankel III ile tedavisinde erken karışık dişlenme döneminde başarılı sonuçlar alınabileceğini göstermektedir
