Posterior Alveoler Krette Dişeti Yerleşimli Skuamoz Hücreli Karsinoma: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Oral kavite kanserleri özellikle orta yaşlı veya yaşlı erkek hastalarda görülmektedir. Skuamoz hücreli karsinoma (SHK) oral kanserlerin en sık görülen tipidir. SHK’da ilk tedavi seçeneği cerrahidir. Agresif veya konservatif yaklaşımlardan hangisinin kullanılması gerektiği ise hala tartışılmaktadır. Bu vaka raporunun amacı posterior mandibulasında SHK tespit edilen 85 yaşındaki erkek hastanın teşhis ve tedavisinin sunulmasıdır. Hastaya marjinal rezeksiyon prosedürü uygulanmış, böylece post operatif fonksiyon kaybı önlenmiş ve yaşam kalitesi arttırılmıştır.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma At The Posterior Alveolar Crest Gingiva: Case Report

Abstract

Oral cavity cancers are seen especially in middle aged or elder men. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common type of oral cancers. The first treatment choice in SCC is surgery. The use of aggressive or conservative surgical approaches is still controversial. The aim of this case report is to present the diagnose and surgical treatment of an 85 years old male patient with SCC at posterior mandible. Marginal resection was performed to prevent post operative function loss and increase the life quality.
