Diş Hekimliğinde Görüntü Arşivleme ve İletişim Sistemleri

Abstract

Dijital medikal görüntüler tanı ve tedaviye yön veren önemli bilgi kaynaklarıdır. Günümüz diş hekimliğinde çeşitli amaçlar için çok farklı dijital veri kaynakları kullanılmaktadır. Görüntü arşivleme ve iletişim sistemleri (PACS) (Picture archiving and communication system) temel olarak medikal görüntü ve bilgilerin değerlendirilmesi, arşivlenmesi ve paylaşımı amacı ile geliştirilmişlerdir. PACS sistemleri hastane bilgi sistemleri ve radyoloji bilgi sistemlerinden farklı olarak hastanın tüm sosyal güvenlik ve medikal bilgilerinin, görüntülerinin ve test sonuçlarının saklanıp arşivlenmesini, sağlık merkezleri arasında bilgilerin paylaşılmasını sağlamaktadır. Digital imaging and communications in medicine(DICOM) ve Health level 7 (HL7) bu amaç için kullanılan başlıca dosya sistemleridir. Bu derlemenin amacı; PACS sistemlerini, bu sistemlerde kullanılan başlıca dosya sistemlerini tanıtmak ve diş hekimliğindeki ve ülkemizdeki PACS uygulamaları hakkında bilgi vermektir
