Renk seçiminde güncel teknolojik gelişmeler

Abstract

Estetik diş hekimliğinin en önemli unsurlarından biri restorasyon renginin seçimidir. Ancak diş rengi görünebilir ışık spektrumunun dar bir alanında yer alır ve seçimi pek çok faktörden etkilenir. Dişhekimliğinde renk seçimi görsel ve bilgisayar destekli sistemlerin yardımı ile olmak üzere iki kategoriye ayrılabilir. Görsel renk seçiminde skalalar kullanılmaktadır. Kolorimetreler, RGB (red, green, blue kelimelerinin baş harflerinden oluşmaktadır) cihazları, spektrofotometreler ve spektroradyometreler renk seçimi amacıyla kullanılan dijital cihazlardır. Diş gibi translusent objelerin değerlendirilmesinde bazı bilgisayar destekli cihazların kullanımı yanlış sonuçlara yol açabilir. Ancak bu sistemler subjektif olan görsel değerlendirmeye kıyasla daha objektif sonuçlar ortaya koymaktadır. Görsel ve bilgisayar destekli sistemlerin kombine olarak kullanımı önerilmektedir. Sunulan çalışmada; gerek görsel gerekse renk seçimi için geliştirilen yeni teknolojik uygulamalardan bahsedilmiştir
