Abstract

Tam
dişsiz hastaların protetik tedavisinde geleneksel yöntemle yapılan hareketli
protezlerde yetersiz tutu- culuk ve stabilite problemleri, protezin hasta
tarafın- dan benimsenememesi ve dengesiz yük iletimiyle destek kemiğin kaybı
gibi sorunlara yol açmaktadır. Bu nedenle günümüzde tam dişsiz hastaların
protetik tedavisinde implant destekli protezlerin kullanımı yaygınlaşmaktadır.
Hibrit protezler implant destekli hareketli protezlerin üstün özelliklerini
taşıyan, rijit yapıya sahip en az 4 adet implant üzerine vidalanan bir altyapı
üzerine dizilen yapay dişler ve akrilik rezin içeren protez türüdür.
İmplantların sayısı ve dağılımı, ağız hijyeni, estetik, alt yapı materyalinin
pasif uyumu, biyolojik ve teknik komplikasyonlar gibi faktörler hibrit
protezlerin prognozunu etkileyebilmektedir. Bu vaka raporunda 63 yaşındaki
kadın hastanın multidisipliner yaklaşımla titanyum altyapılı destekli hibrit
protezle ile tedavisi anlatılmaktadır.

PROCESSING OF HYBRID
DENTURE FABRICATED WITH CAD/CAM TITANIUM FRAMEWORK: CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT

Conventional treatment options in edentulous patients
may lead to insufficient retention and stabilization, failure in adaptation of
the patient and bone resorption due to unstable force transmission. Hence, the
option of implant supported prosthesis in edentulous patients has been
developed. Hybrid prosthesis are the type of prosthetic treatment with the
superior properties of implant supported removable dentures with acrylic resin
flanges and artificial teeth, consisting a rigid framework fixed on at least 4
implants. Factors such as the number of implants and distribution, oral
hygiene, esthetics, passive fit of the framework and biological and technical
complications can affect the prognosis of hybrid prosthesis. The treatment of a
63 year-old female patient with titanium framework supported hybrid dentures in
a multidisciplinary approach was presented.
