Abstract

ABSTRACT
Temporomandibular joint diseases are frequently encountered today. However, it is difficult to implement an effective treatment plan when the cause cannot be determined. Various oral appliances are used to treat, but there are differences of opinion on how these oral appliances are designed and used. The aim of this article is to review the current literature and help to understand the types of splint types that can be used in joint disorders and in which situations they can be used.
Keyword; Temporomandibular joint disorders occlusal splint, bruxism
