Abstract
Bu çalışma yağlı
boya resim sanatı tarihi boyunca uygulanan farklı tekniklerin gelişim sürecinin
temelinde yer alan Flaman ve İtalyan yağlı boya resimleme yöntemlerini
incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, günümüzde de etkisini sürdüren bu iki
temel resimleme yönteminin genel hatları çerçevesinde Avrupa yağlı boya
resminin geleneği ve gelişim süreci tanımlanmaya ve irdelenmeye çalışılacaktır.
Çalışmamız XV.
ve XVI. yüzyıl Kuzey ve Güney Avrupa
Rönesans’ı üzerinden adım adım ilerleyecektir. İlk olarak Flaman resimleme
yönteminin özellikleri, Jan Van Eyck’in sanatı
(1390-1441) üzerinden irdelenecek, sonrasında ise Antonello da Messina (1430-1479),
Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) ve Raffaello Sanzio (1483-1520)
gibi biçime dayalı olan Floransa okulu temsilcileri ve rengi ile öne çıkan
Venedik okulu temsilcisi Titian (1488/1490-1576) gibi dönemin önde gelen sanatçılarının çalışmaları adım
adım izlenerek, Güney Avrupa’da etkin
olan İtalyan
resimleme yönteminin özellikleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılacaktır.
