Abstract
Öz
Bu çalışmada, Modern Arap Edebiyatının önemli hikâye ve roman yazarlarından biri olan Abdurrahman Munîf’in hayatı, edebî kişiliği ve eserleri hakkında kısaca bilgi verildikten sonra “el-Bâbu’l-Meftûh” adlı hikâye seçkisinde yer alan “Risâle min Verâi’l-Hudûd” (Sınırlar Ötesinden Bir Mektup) adlı kısa öykünün tercümesi verilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
In this study, after giving brief information about Abdelrahman Munif’s life, literary personelity and works who is one of the important story and novel writer in Modern Arabic literature, the short story named “Risale min verail hudud” which is in the story featured in “al-Babul meftûh” is tried to give translation.
