Abstract

The Importance of Abdominal Massage in Management of Constipation Abdominal massage which is placed in management of constipation and is applied from nurses is safe, noninvasive and non-pharmacological method without any side effects. Abdominal massage, the area of the intestine through the abdominal wall clockwise strokes, kneading and vibration of implementation results are stimulated bowel movements. KONSTİPASYON YÖNETİMİNDE ABDOMİNAL MASAJIN ÖNEMİ

Abstract

Abdominal masaj, konstipasyon yönetiminde yer alan, hemşireler tarafından uygulanan, güvenli, invaziv olmayan ve yan etkisi olmayan nonfarmakolojik bir yöntemdir. Abdominal masaj, karın duvarı üzerinden bağırsakların bulunduğu bölgeye saat yönünde eflöraj (sıvazlama), petrisaj (yoğurma) ve vibrasyon (titreşim) manevralarının uygulanması sonucu bağırsak hareketlerini uyarmaktadır. Bu derlemede, özellikle son yıllarda konstipasyon yönetiminde etkin bir yöntem olan abdominal masajın, en önemli bağımsız bir hemşirelik girişimi olduğunu vurgulamak ve önemini ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır.
