Year 2006, Volume: 9 Issue: 2, 25 - 35, 18.02.2010

Abstract

Araştırma jinekolojik kanserli
hastaların yaşam kalitelerini belirlemek,
yaşam kalitesi ile demografik, sosyokültürel,
kanser türü ve tedavi yöntemine
özgü değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri
saptamak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Çalışma iki aşamada
yürütülmüştür. İlk aşamada, Yaşam Kalitesi
Ölçeği’nin/KANSER HASTASI Türkçe
geçerlilik ve güvenirlik çalışması
yapılmıştır. İkinci aşama, Aralık 2001-Mayıs
2002 tarihleri arasında İstanbul Üniversitesi
(İ.Ü.) İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Kadın
Hastalıkları ve Doğum Anabilim Dalı, İ.Ü.
Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Kadın
Hastalıkları ve Doğum Anabilim Dalı ve İ.Ü.
Onkoloji Enstitüsü birimlerinin ilgili
polikliniklerinde yürütülmüştür ve 100
jinekolojik kanser hastası ile çalışılmıştır.
Araştırmanın bu aşamasında, yaşam
kalitesini etkileyen sorunları belirlemek için,
Kalitesi Ölçeği’nin/KANSER HASTASI
Türkçe formu kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca,
hastaların cinsel yaşamına yönelik verilerin
elde edilmesinde, 30 vaka ile yaklaşık 30-35
dakika süren derinlemesine görüşmeler
yapılmıştır.
Araştırma sonucuna göre,
jinekolojik kanserlerin ve uygulanan tedavi
yöntemlerinin, yaşam kalitesini olumsuz
yönde etkileyen, önemli sorunlara neden
olduğu belirlenmiştir.
