JİNEKOLOJİK KANSERLİ HASTALARIN BAKIM VE REHABİLİTASYONUNDA HEMŞİRENİN ROLÜ

Year 2006, Volume: 9 Issue: 3, 88 - 97, 18.02.2010

Abstract

Ülkemizde oldukça yaygın görülen
jinekolojik kanserlerin kadın sağlığı
üzerindeki olumsuz etkileri çok boyutludur.
Buna rağmen, jinekolojik kanserlerin tanı ve
tedavisindeki gelişmeler, bu gruptaki
hastaların yaşam süresini uzatarak kaliteli
yaşam beklentisini artırmıştır. Bu bakış,
hastaya verilen bakım ve desteğin boyutunu
değiştirerek, hemşirenin görev ve
sorumluluklarında olumlu değişikliklere yol
açmıştır. Günümüzde kanserli hastaya
yaklaşım, erken tanının önemini kavramadan
başlayarak hastalığı kabullenme, öz
bakım gücünü geliştirerek kronik
hastalıklarda olduğu gibi onunla yaşamını
sürdürme becerisini geliştirme ve yaşamın
son döneminde, terminal hasta bakımına
kadar uzanan çok geniş bir yelpaze içinde
ele alınmaktadır. Bu bakış kanser
yönetiminde, sağlık profesyonellerine çeşitli
hizmet alanlarında, farklı sorumluluklar
getirmektedir.
